In the age of Industry 4.0, AGV forklifts (Automated Guided Vehicle forklifts) are becoming an essential trend in the fields of logistics and manufacturing. For this reason, the Dalat Milk factory has chosen AFM Vietnam Automation Joint Stock Company to deploy six AGV forklifts to supply empty pallets to the robot system and retrieve full pallets for storage.

What is an AGV forklift?

An AGV forklift is a type of forklift integrated with Automated Guided Vehicle technology, allowing it to operate without a direct human driver. The vehicle can automatically move and lift goods along a pre-programmed route, using technologies such as Lidar sensors, SLAM navigation, 3D cameras (Visionary-T mini), and other advanced safety devices.

The real-time status of all vehicles is displayed on a monitoring screen, allowing operators to always know the vehicles condition and manage production.
