LIQUID WATERPROOF MEMBRANCE

1. Description

- Ready-to-use, solvent-free, viscous, waterproofing material that once cured is elastic, watertight, but vapour permeable, and can be tiled directly with polymer-modified adhesives.

- Seamless, jointless waterproofing beneath tiles in damp areas where water impermeability is required e.g. in residential bathrooms and kitchens, private and commercial washrooms.

- SANIFLEX is suitable as a bonded waterproof membrane for water penetration classes W0-I to W1-I as well as on wall areas for water penetration class W2-I to DIN 18534 part 3.

- Very low emissions - GEV EMICODE EC1 PLUS.

- Fulfills the AgBB scheme requirements.

- Consumption: Min. 1.2kg/m², ASO-Unigrund-GE: 0,2 kg/m²

2. Usage

- SANIFLEX is used in damp areas that need waterproofing such as bathrooms, toilets and kitchens in public or private buildings.

- SANIFLEX is used to waterproof the bottom layer of tiles on balconies and terraces in temperate climates (without snow cover for a long time).

- SANIFLEX is suitable for fast construction requirements and overcomes troubles related to troublesome waterproofing details.

- However, SANIFLEX is not suitable for environments that are continuously immersed in water or used as an outermost finishing layer

3. Specifications

Construction temperature: Min +5^oC, Max +42^oC.

Healing the cracks: Min 0.75 mm with thickness 0.8 mm, up to 2 mm (ASTM C 836:95)

Steam diffusion coefficient: ~10000

Adhesion strength: 1.5 N/mm² (ASTM D 4541:2002)

Tensile: 9 N/mm² (ASTM D 412-98a)

Elongation: ~260% (ASTM D 412-98a)

Water permeability: Impervious to pressure 5 bar (BS EN 12390)

4. Preservation and expiry date

- 15 months when stored as original in closed container with shelves. Please preserve in a dry environment with the temperature at +5^oC to +30^oC
