***Service Introduction
Advantages:
Suited to the characteristics and composition of seafood processing wastewater.
Post-treatment wastewater using MBBR technology meets current regulatory standards.
Unique modular design allows for easy expansion and capacity upgrades.
Space-saving by integrating AAO with MBBR.
Handles high pollution loads effectively.
Easily scalable (can increase capacity by 1.3 to 1.5 times when necessary).
Effectively removes organic substances and nitrogen from wastewater.
Microorganisms can tolerate salinity in regions prone to saltwater intrusion.
Disadvantages:
Operators must possess technical expertise in system operation.
Treated wastewater quality may be impacted if any operational steps are mishandled.
Sludge generated during the process must be collected and treated periodically.
Proper control of solids, debris, and grease entering the microbial system is essential.
Requires a comprehensive technology system, including preliminary and advanced treatment stages.
The oxidation ditch treats seafood processing wastewater through extended aeration. Activated sludge is suspended in wastewater and circulates continuously in the ditch.
Sludge concentration in the oxidation ditch is maintained between 4,000 - 6,000 mg/L.
Dissolved oxygen (DO) is supplied by surface aeration equipment. DO levels in the aerobic zone exceed 2.2 mg/L, supporting the aerobic oxidation of organic matter and nitrification.
In the anoxic zone, DO levels are lower (0.5 - 0.8 mg/L), enabling the denitrification process.
Wastewater circulates around the tank following the rotation of surface aerators, eliminating the need for sludge recirculation from aerobic to anoxic zones while ensuring effective nitrogen removal.
After processing in the oxidation ditch, the mixture of sludge (microorganisms) and wastewater is transferred to a sedimentation tank. In the sedimentation tank, sludge is separated from the wastewater using gravity within 4–6 hours.
