5. Manufacturing Process:

6. Safety Guidelines for Liquid Oxygen Use:
Liquid oxygen is stored at extremely low temperatures and under pressure controlled by safety valves. Only trained personnel should handle it.
- Combustion Risk: Oxygen intensifies combustion. Flammable substances in contact with liquid oxygen can explode upon ignition.
- Storage and Handling:

Keep away from oil, grease, and direct sunlight.
•
Store and use in well-ventilated areas.
•
Maintain a minimum distance of 5 meters from ignition sources smoking is prohibited.
- Contact Precautions:

Avoid skin, eye, or clothing contact with liquid oxygen to prevent frostbite and cold burns.

Always wear protective gear (e.g., face shields, gloves) when handling liquid oxygen.
- Cylinder Handling:

Do not tip, or roll the cylinder. Use appropriate transport equipment.

Open cylinder and regulator valves slowly during use. Close valves after use, leaving a minimum residual pressure of ≥ 5 bar.
- Cold Burn Treatment: In case of exposure to liquid oxygen causing cold burns, immediately seek medical attention.
7. Medical Usage Safety Guidelines:
- Operated only by trained personnel familiar with hypoxia treatment and resuscitation.
- For medical applications, oxygen must be prescribed and monitored by healthcare professionals.
- Continuous use of high-concentration oxygen requires careful monitoring of arterial blood oxygen levels to avoid potential harm.
- Ensure oxygen cylinders are upright and use vaporizer heat exchangers and pressure-reducing equipment designed specifically for oxygen.
- Never attempt to administer oxygen to a non-breathing patient unless using appropriate resuscitation equipment under a doctor’s guidance.
