2. Tour itinerary:
☀ Day 1 : Hanoi arrival - Pick up to hotel
- Welcome to Hanoi – the capital of Vietnam! After landing and immigration procedure, Ama Journey’s tour guide and driver are waiting for you to pick up and take a 45-minute transfer to your hotel in Hanoi old quarter.
- Check in at your hotel (check in time after 14.00), take a rest after your flight or enjoy a walk around to discover the 36 streets city followed by a welcome dinner at a restaurant in the old quarter.
- Overnight in Hanoi.

☀ Day 2 : Highlights of Hanoi discovery
- The Hanoi heritage sites tour program will bring you an impressive experience of Hanoi through the discovery of beautiful landscapes and historical sites that have made Hanoi famous. The program is private, so the schedule will be flexible and our tour guide is ready to modify it according to your requirements right on the tour.
- Start the journey by exploring the imperial citadel of Thang Long, built in the 7th century in the Dinh - Tien Le period. Experiencing many ups and downs of history, now, Thang Long Imperial Citadel is a place that attracts many domestic and foreign tourists to admire and explore.
- Then visit Ho Chi Minh memorial complex that included: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, the house on stilts, the One Pillar pagoda.
Lunch will be served at a colonial style house restaurant before we head to the Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam thousand years ago, also a temple to worship Confucius.
- Hoa Lo prison or also known as the Hanoi Hilton that should not be missed. A place built by French colonialists and later Northern Vietnam used it for US prisoners of war.
Long Bien bridge is a highlight of the trip. The hundred years old bridge crossing the Red river symbolizes historical Hanoi.
- Back to the city center for a walking tour in the old quarter. Discover the local life and some delicious street foods to understand more about our culture. You will pick some street foods such as” bun cha”, “grilled meats”, local “salads” (Nom), or BAMI breads… Relax at a café shop with an egg coffee before ending the trip.
- Overnight in Hanoi

☀☀ Day 3 : Hanoi - discover Hoa Lu - Tam Coc - Mua Cave
- 8.00 Pick up from your hotel and transfer to Ninh Binh. After a 2 hour drive along highway No 1, arriving in Hoa Lu – the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 11th century. Discover the beauties and the histories of 2 king temples: Dinh King Temple and Le King temple.
- Moving to Tam Coc area for a Sampan boat trip along the Ngo Dong river which is a colorful rice field in the harvest season among Karst mountain ranges. The rowing boat will lead you to the gorgeous landscapes and throughout the 3 grottoes (Tam is three and Coc is grotto). Back to the pier after 1.5 – 2 hours in the rowing boat trip and enjoy a lunch at a local restaurant.
- After lunch, we will explore Bich Dong pagoda, one of the typical pagoda in the red river delta of northern Vietnam. Crossing the stone bridge to the ancient gate of Bich Dong pagoda. Discover The “Lower pagoda” then more than 100 steps to Chua Trung (Middle pagoda). A special pagoda in the cave and the unique clay statues. Walking up through the cave will lead you to the highest pagoda (Chua Thuong) which not only provides you with the history but also offers a great view from there.
- Later, transfer to Hang Mua (Mua cave) to enjoy hiking to the Ngoa Long mountain. Conquer 500 steps to reach the peak. That would be worth it for a great panorama view from the top.
- Stay in Ninh Binh.

☀ Day 4 : Bai Dinh pagoda and Trang An lanscape complex - The World Heritage site
- After breakfast at your hotel, start to visit Bai Dinh pagoda. This is one of the most impressive and biggest pagodas in southeast Asia, a Buddhism center in Vietnam.
Walking along the 500 stone Arhats statues lead to the main pagoda. Discover the 13 storey tower by a lift to enjoy the panoramic view.
- Travel to Trang An area for lunch and relaxing before a sampan rowing boat trip on the clear water of the stream where you can see the bottom or many fishes. Rowing through the grottoes, some of them are 100 – 200-meter long that really bring you an impression.
- On the boat trip, we will stop and get off the boat to discover some pagodas and temples which were built to worship the Tran dynasty’s mandarins.
- After a 2-hour boat trip. Return to the Trang An pier and return to your hotel.
- Overnight in Ninh Binh.

☀ Day 5 : Ninh Binh - Tuan Chau - Lan Ha Bay cruise
- Breakfast at your hotel in Ninh Binh. Pick up and transfer to Halong Bay. After a 3 hour transfer, arrive in Tuan Chau island, welcomed by cruise’s staff, enjoy a welcome drink and check in procedure for an overnight cruise in Halong bay – Lan Ha Bay.
- A sumptuous lunch will be served on the cruise while cruising through the Halong Bay to Lan Ha Bay. Explore the Dave and Bright Cave – famous for natural beauty in the pristine area of Lan Ha Bay. This will be the best time for some interesting activities such as kayaking, bamboo boat rowing, swimming or simply relaxing on the cruise.
- In the evening, Enjoy a delicious dinner before join in some fishing activities and overnight in Lan Ha Bay

☀☀ Day 6 : Lan Ha bay - Tuan Chau - fly to Da nang - Hoi An
- Get up early in the morning. Tai Chi lessons are available before a nice breakfast. Then discover the Trung Trang cave – one of the most impressive caves in the middle of Cat Ba island. This is the natural limestone cave with thousand beautiful stalagmites and stalactites in different amazing shapes.
- Lunch is ready on the cruise after checking out the room and cruising back to the pier. Meeting our driver and transferring back to Hanoi. Directly to the airport for your flight to Danang.
- On arrival, get a pick up to Hoi An Ancient town.

☀ Day 7 : Hoi An town full day exploration
- Hoi An is located in central Vietnam. It is about 30 km from Danang airport to the south. Hoi An is a small ancient town by the coast and estuary, so it was the busiest trading place in the 15th to 19th centuries. Today, Hoi An has become an indispensable destination in the Vietnam tour itinerary list.
- At 8.00 am, pick up at your hotel and enjoy a full day tour to explore this charming cozy town. The first attraction is Cam Pho, an ancient communal house. This is a non-touristic destination. An ancient and beautiful temple with pure Vietnamese character and well preserved to this day.
- Enjoy a leisure walk to the symbol of Hoi An: Chua Cau (Japanese bridge) that allows the Japanese quarter to access the Chinese quarter of the town. This temple bridge was well preserved in its original style for mostly 400 years.
- Continue the walking tour in Hoi An Ancient Town to visit Quan Thang ancient house, which is more than 150 years old. The house is still quite intact in terms of architectural design and interior decoration. The entire architecture and wood carvings are very lively and delicate, made by artisans of Kim Bong carpentry village, Hoi An.
Followed by a visiting Phuc Kien or Fujian Assembly Hall built from the 17th century. This is the religious site to honor deity Thien Hau. Admiring its ornate gates surrounding. And beautiful carved dragons in the main room.

- In the late afternoon, explore the local Hoi An center market, this is the best way to see the local life. ☀ Day 8 : Hoi An - Tra Que Village - An Bang Beach - Street Food Tour
- In the morning, meet our tour guide and driver for a transferring to Tra Que organic vegetable village.
- A large variety of vegetables is produced to supply the demand of the local community in this Hoi An town. In this village, you will be shown an environmentally sustainable practice on how to plant the vegetable which is the way that the farmers used for centuries till today.
- Lunch will be on your own in Tra Que Village

- Return to your hotel in the later afternoon for a Hoi An street food tour

- This street food tour is the great way for you to enjoy our local specialities in Hoi An, know about the local chefs, how their cooking skills and the ingredients that made the specialities. - After your breakfast at your hotel, meet our tour guide and driver for a 4-hour transfer to Hue – the Royal city in the center of Vietnam. On the way, stop to visit Marble Mountain, My Khe beach in Danang.Drive to Hai Van pass to enjoy the great panoramic view to the sea and Lang Co beach.
- Arrive in Hue in the afternoon, check in hotel and discover the city by a boat trip along the Huong River to Thien Mu pagoda – a symbol of Hue city.

- Enjoy your breakfast at your hotel. Meet our tour guide and driver for a full day tour to discover this charming Royal city.
- The first stop is the Royal Citadel. Our tour guide will tell you the historical events of this former royal court. This citadel city is composed of three parts: Kinh Thanh (the Capital city), Hoang Thanh (the Imperial city) and Cam Thanh (the Forbidden City).
- In the afternoon, explore Khai Dinh royal tomb that has the combination of Vietnamese and Europe’s architecture style. The next will be Tu Duc royal tomb which has a lake, pavilion and palaces, a great beautiful place to visit and discover.

☀ Day 12: Ho Chi Minh - Cu Chi - City tour full day discovery
- After your breakfast at your hotel, meet our tour guide and driver for a trip to Cu Chi tunnel. This area is well-known for its underground networks that provide shelter and an effective place of infiltration for Vietcong during the Vietnam war.
- After a 1.5-hour drive, arrive in Cu Chi. The first stop is in the model room to watch an introduction video about Cu Chi tunnel and understand more about the tunnel system by scale model explanation.
- Then you will move to explore the battleground, the hidden network of Vietnam that is believed to stretch hundred miles in total length with housed living, makeshift hospitals, kitchens, storage roomsetc.Some original parts were very narrow and have been widened for tourists to have the opportunity to explore this amazing system. After Cu Chi experience, return to Ho Chi Minh city.
- Explore the Reunification Palace and then move to visit the War Remnant Museum that allows you for an insightful look into the history of Vietnam war that may bring you a big surprise than you used to know or hear about it.

☀ Day 13: Ho Chi Minh city - Mekong delta day trip
- Meeting your tour guide and driver after your breakfast and transfer to Mekong which is famous for its vast rice fields, countless waterways and beautiful idyllic landscapes.
Arrive in Ben Tre town after a 2-hour drive, take a motorboat trip to explore the narrow channels among the coconut forest. On the boat trip, we will stop to visit some traditional handicraft villages such as brick village, weaving sleeping mats village to see their local life and how they do their products.
- Take a leisure walk along the village path under the coconuts shadow, visit the locals and taste the fresh fruits, honey tea.
- Ben Tre is famous for Coconut Candy you will visit the workshop that produces this delicacy of candy and other products that are skillfully handcrafted from coconut husk and fiber.
- After that, take a sampan boat through the canals along the hidden waterways surrounded by an immense variety of tropical plants. The peaceful rural place is great for recovering from a busy life.
- Lunch will be served with local specialties at the restaurant. After lunch, enjoy the motor cart that will take you through the local hamlets, rice fields, coconut groves and orchard farms.
- Return to the pier and take our transfer back to Ho Chi Minh city.
