2. Tour itinerary:
✦ Day 1 : Hanoi arrival - Get a pickup to hotel
- Ama Journey’s tour guide and driver are waiting for you to pick up and take a 45-minute transfer to your hotel in Hanoi old quarter.
Check in at your hotel (check in time after 14.00), take a rest after your flight or enjoy a walk around to discover the 36 streets city followed by a welcome dinner at a restaurant in the old quarter.

✦ Day 2 : Hanoi city tour - night train to Sapa
- After breakfast at your hotel, at 8.00 our private tour guide and driver will meet you for a full day exploring this charming city.
Starting to visit the Ho Chi Minh memorial complex where the body of the “great father of nation” is preserved. Then nearby is Presidential Palace – a very nice colonial style architecture, the house on stilts where HCM lived and worked, walking to the small bridge to see the fish pond will lead you to the One Pillar Pagoda – an ancient Buddhist temple and cultural significance in Hanoi.
- The next will be a short walk to Huu Tiep Lake to see the B52 crash site still in the middle of the lake that was shot down during the 1972 bombing in Hanoi. You will have a chance to see the locals through the small alleys of the streets, local markets, and a 400-year-old Ngoc Ha temple.
- Another fascinating highlight is Vietnam Museum of Ethnology which is a research center and also a public museum exhibiting 54 minority groups of Vietnam. And you will meet them during your Vietnam trip.
- Lunch will be served by famous Vietnamese food: Pho noodle. You will see a local skilled chef making Pho, see how to make and what are the ingredients, then enjoy a delicious hot bowl of Pho.
- After lunch, we will explore a thousand-year architecture work, the first university of Vietnam: The temple of Literature built in 1070. This is also a temple to worship Confucius. Next is the Hoa Lo Prison, known as the Hanoi Hilton, built by the French colonialist and later North Vietnamese used it for American prisoners of war.
- A full day Hanoi tour will last until the evening. You will explore the old town through famous streets such as: Hang Ngang, Hang Dao, Ta Hien, Ma May, Hang Ma, Bat Su, etc.
- Enjoy your own dinner and get a transfer to Hanoi Railway Station for a night train to Lao Cai.

✦ Day 3 : Sapa arrival - Enjoy Muong Hoa Valley trekking
- In the early morning, arrive at Lao Cai railway station, get a pick up for breakfast and then transfer 30 km to Sapa town.
Leave your luggage at the hotel or at our office and then depart to discover Sapa by trekking tour along the Muong Hoa valley.
Admire the beauty hidden in the morning mist with terraced fields, villages and majestic Fansipan peak.
- Visit the Hmong people in Lao Chai Village and keep walking in the middle of the valley to the beautiful Ta Van village - the village of Zay people.
- Crossing the suspension bridge and walking a couple of kilometers, you will find a collection of delicately carved rocks depicting human life, stilt houses and other beautiful decorative patterns.
- Lunch at a local restaurant with food is very attractive to tourists. After lunch, take a short rest and then continue walking to the bamboo forest of Giang Ta Chai, a village of the Red Zao ethnic people, relaxing by a waterfall, before climbing up the road to meet our car for transferring to Sapa town

✦ Day 4 : Sapa - Ban Khoang - Ta Phin village trekking
- At 7.00am, meet our tour guide and driver to Ban Khoang and Ta Phin village for a full day trekking trip. On the way, we will stop to visit Silver Waterfall. Keep driving to Ban Khoang and enjoy 12 km trekking up and down hill, immerse yourself into the beauties of nature and culture of the Red Zao hill tribe people.
- After lunch (picnic lunch) , continue trekking through the trails leading to corn fields, rain forests. On the way, you will admire the beautiful scenery of the rice terrace and can interact with the local people working in the fields. Learn about the unique culture in daily life of Red Zao people in this area.
- Transfer back to Sapa in the afternoon. Take a relaxation, have hot shower and your own dinner before transferring to Lao Cai railway station for night train to Hanoi.

✦ Day 5 : Hanoi - Halong Bay cruise
- The train will arrive in Hanoi in early morning, get a pick up ( by hotels staff) and walk to hotel by the gate of railway station for refresh a couple of hours as well as
- At 8.00, after breakfast at your hotel, our driver will pick you up and transfer you through the red river delta to one of the most famous world heritage sites in Vietnam: Halong Bay, where you will board a charming and full-equipped cabin for a 2-day overnight cruise.
- Arrive at Halong pier, the cruise welcomes you on board, check in the cruise. Enjoy a sumptuous lunch on cruise while admiring the limestone karsts and tropical islets rising up from the emerald waters of the bay.
- Exploring Sung Sot cave (Surprising save), which is the largest natural cave in Halong Bay with mesmerizing stalactites and stalagmites. Formed millions of years ago. Some activities such as swimming, kayaking, climbing Titov mountain will be included in the program offering a memorable journey experience.
- In the evening, enjoy dinner on board with a romantic atmosphere around.

- Enjoy an early morning to catch the sunrise over the thousand limestone in the middle of crystal emerald water creating a marvelous scene.
- A breakfast is served on cruise and take a relaxation while the cruise passes some islets such as: man head, tortoise rocks… named by distinctive shapes.
- Brunch is ready before checking out the cruise and disembarking the pier.
- Meeting our driver for a transfer back to Hanoi for flight to Danang.
- On arrival, get a pick up to Hoi An ancient town.

✦ Day 7 : Hoi An ancient town exploration:
- At 8.00 am, pick up at your hotel and enjoy a full day tour to explore this charming cozy town.
- The first attraction is Cam Pho, an ancient communal house. This is a non-touristic destination. An ancient and beautiful temple with pure Vietnamese character and well preserved to this day. Enjoy a leisure walk to the symbol of Hoi An: Chua Cau (Japanese bridge) that allows the Japanese quarter to access the Chinese quarter of the town. This temple bridge was well preserved in its original style for mostly 400 years.
- Continue the walking tour in Hoi An Ancient Town to visit Quan Thang ancient house, which is more than 150 years old. The house is still quite intact in terms of architectural design and interior decoration. The entire architecture and wood carvings are very lively and delicate, made by artisans of Kim Bong carpentry village, Hoi An. Followed by a visiting Phuc Kien or Fujian Assembly hall built from the 17th century. This is the religious site to honor deity Thien Hau. Admiring its ornate gates surrounding. And beautiful carved dragons in the main room.
- The next visit to the Precious Heritage museum - located in Hoi An Old Town, is home to the permanent exhibition of Réhahn’s Precious Heritage Collection. will bring to you a discovery of striking portraits, stories, and heirlooms that can’t be found anywhere else in the world. - In the late afternoon, explore the local Hoi An center market, this is the best way to see the local life. ✦ Day 8 : Hoi An biking tour
- After breakfast at your hotel, meet our tour guide for a full day biking tour to explore the countryside.
- Embarking the ferry to cross the Thu Bon River to the Kim Bong village. Enjoy the fresh air on the ferry as well as the beautiful rural landscape from both sides of the Thu Bon river.
- Kim Bong village is well known for wood carving. Visit carpenter workshops and admire the skill of the artisan and learn their history about the job. Biking around the village to see their local life and the beauty of this handicraft village.
- Keep biking through the rice field, on the trails, passing the bamboo bridge and along the river to Tra Nhieu village. Visit the families of Mat weaving, bamboo sampan basket making and a craftsman boatyard. Biking in this village will allow you to admire the beautiful countryside landscape with palm and rice fields, buffalo and farmers in the fields.
- Take a boat trip from Tra Nhieu village to Cam Thanh village. There are fishing farm, water palm trees along the way. Enjoy a bamboo sampan basket trip and catching crabs in the water palm tree forest.
- Take a rest in a house of local fishermen to understand more about life. Taste a green tea and relax with a foot massage in the package.
- Another highlight of the day is a cooking class in the village. Some typical dishes such as crispy pancake (meat, shrimp, beansprouts…), spring rolls of Hoi An, Tam Huu, grilled fish in banana leaf, etc. Enjoy the foods that you just made.
- Relax before biking back to the hotel.

- Transfer to airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh city. Upon arrival, get a pickup to hotel in the city center and enjoy a city tour to explore the highlights of this vibrant city that was considered the Pearl of Far East. This private tour is on your pace, tailor - made activities on your requirement and we suggest you to discover the highlights of the city such as: the Reunification Palace and then moving to visit the War Remnant Museum that allows you for an insightful look into the history of Vietnam war that may bring you a big surprise than you used to know or hear about it. The next will be Notre Dame Cathedral, Opera House, the Central Post office, the city hall now it is the peoples committee building.
- Lunch will be served in the restaurant. Relaxing after lunch and continuing on the trip to visit Ben Thanh market - the biggest vibrant market in Ho Chi Minh city for exploring the locals and their daily business life. You may find some interesting souvenirs.

✦✦ Day 10 : Ho Chi Minh - Explore the legend of Cu Chi tunnel
- After your breakfast at your hotel, meet our tour guide and driver for a trip to Cu Chi tunnel. This area is well-known for its underground networks that provide shelter and an effective place of infiltration for Vietcong during the Vietnam war.
- After a 1.5 hour drive, arrive in Cu Chi. The first stop is in the model room to watch an introduction video about Cu Chi tunnel and understand more about the tunnel system by scale model explanation.
- Then you will move to explore the battleground, the hidden network of Vietnam that is believed to stretch hundred miles in total length with housed living, makeshift hospitals, kitchens, storage rooms, and so on. Some original parts were very narrow and have been widened for tourists to have the opportunity to explore this amazing system. After Cu Chi experience, return to Ho Chi Minh city.
- Arrive at your hotel around 14.00 and enjoy your break.

✦✦ Day 11 : Mekong discover full day trip
- Meeting your tour guide and driver after your breakfast and transfer to Mekong which is famous for its vast rice fields, countless waterways and beautiful idyllic landscapes.
- Arrive in Ben Tre town after a 2 hour drive, take a motorboat trip to explore the narrow channels among the coconut forest. On the boat trip, we will stop to visit some traditional handicraft villages such as brick village, weaving sleeping mats village to see their local life and how they do their products. Take a leisure walk along the village path under the coconuts shadow, visit the locals and taste the fresh fruits, honey tea. Ben Tre is famous for Coconut Candy, you will visit the workshop that produces this delicacy of candy and other products that are skillfully handcrafted from coconut husk and fiber.
- After that, take a sampan boat through the canals along the hidden waterways surrounded by an immense variety of tropical plants. The peaceful rural place is great for recovering from a busy life.
- Lunch will be served with local specialities at the restaurant. After lunch, enjoy the motor cart that will take you through the local hamlets, rice fields, coconut groves and orchard farms.
- Return to the pier and take our transfer back to Ho Chi Minh city.
