♦ Description: Sodium Erythorbate is white or yellow crystalline powder or granules, odorless, slightly salted.

♦ Application: Keeps food color without losing flavor and is a preservative. Sodium Erythorbate is mainly used in the food industry, as an antioxidant agent, as a preservative and as a color retainer. It is widely used in meat food, fish food, beer, juice, fruit syrup, cake, milk, etc.

♦ Sodium Erythorbate production process (Reference):

- Sodium Erythorbate is produced from sugars derived from sources such as sugar beet, sugar cane, and corn. Especially it is produced from the fermentation of corn sugar. It has been shown to be non-toxic in applications, as the sodium salt of Erythorbic Acid, etc. As an antioxidant structurally related to vitamin C, it improves flavor stability.
