Characteristics

This material is granular, with colors ranging from white to off-white or yellow, and has been thoroughly washed to remove all organic impurities.

Gravel is used as a support layer in filtration tanks and pairs effectively with other mechanical filtration materials, such as Anthracite, Activated Carbon, Manganese Sand, and Quartz Sand, in water treatment plants, as well as in industrial, urban, and residential wastewater treatment projects. It is particularly efficient in counter-current filtration and in large-scale water purification systems, delivering high performance. Additionally, it is widely applied in pressurized water filtration tanks and similar systems.
