Characteristics

This material is granular, white in color, and thoroughly washed to eliminate all organic impurities.

Over 80% of the potable water consumed in modern life depends on sand filters in rapid and slow filtration systems. Maintaining optimal operational conditions for these filters requires high standards in the physical and chemical properties, as well as the particle size distribution of the material. As such, ing high-quality sand with the appropriate particle size is crucial for calculating and ensuring the efficiency of filtration systems.

Only about 10% of natural sand is suitable for use in rapid filtration tanks, of which 30% is applicable in slow filtration tanks. Applications

This sand pairs effectively with other mechanical filtration materials, such as Anthracite, Activated Carbon, Manganese Sand, and Gravel, for use in rapid and slow filtration systems of water treatment plants, as well as in industrial, urban, and residential wastewater treatment projects. It is particularly efficient for counter-current filtration and large-scale water purification systems, delivering high performance. Additionally, it is widely applied in pressurized water filtration tanks, filter columns, and other water filtration systems.
