Mode of Action

• Locating termite nests to destroy the queen is impossible. Mantra TC 30.5SC works on the principle of colony transmission. Termites exposed to the chemical incubate the toxin for several days, spreading it to others through mutual feeding. Eventually, the queen becomes infected, leading to complete colony eradication. This process takes 2–20 days or longer depending on nest size.

• Imidacloprid, the most advanced modern termiticide active ingredient, differs from conventional products that attack insect nerve cells. Instead, Mantra TC disrupts cellular energy production, preventing survival. Worker termites first contact the chemical, then spread lethal doses to the colony, ultimately reaching the queen.

• This “secondary kill” mechanism allows full colony control with minimal dosage. Termites cannot detect the chemical, ensuring they remain until the entire colony is infected and destroyed. This is the latest non-repellent termite control technology.
