1. Overview of EH2351 Chemical-Resistant Epoxy Coating

- EH2351 is a two-component epoxy resin–based coating with outstanding abrasion resistance and superior resistance to seawater, crude oil, refined oil, and various corrosive substances.

– EH2351 enhances abrasion resistance and extends the service life of steel structures operating in corrosive environments such as ship hulls and ship bottoms.

- Finished color: Yellow Gray 1151, French Gray 1128

- Solid content: Approx. 72% (in accordance with ISO 3233)

- Theoretical coverage: 7.2 m²/L at a dry film thickness of 100 µm on smooth surfaces

- Density: Approx. 1.5 kg/L (mixed)

4. Notes for Application of EH2351 Chemical-Resistant Epoxy Coating

• Surface preparation: Prior to application, the surface must be mechanically roughened and thoroughly cleaned, removing oil and contaminants.
  

• Mechanical grinding to create surface roughness before application of EH2351 chemical-resistant epoxy coating.
  

• Do not apply on concrete substrates younger than 28 days.
  

• Substrate moisture content must be less than 6% (verified by moisture meter).
  

• Previous coat: Epoxy primer EP118.
  

• Mixing ratio: PTA:PTB = 4:1 (by volume).
  

• Dry film thickness: 100 µm – 200 µm.
  

• Packaging: 16 Liters/set.
