Teflon Conveyor Belt
Teflon conveyor belts are made from a composite material, consisting of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) emulsion and high-performance fiberglass fabric. Known for their high performance, these belts are widely used for applications requiring resistance to high temperatures and non-stick properties.
Key Characteristics of Teflon Conveyor Belts:
- Temperature Resistance: Teflon belts can withstand temperatures ranging from as low as -196°C to as high as 300°C, making them highly resistant to extreme heat and aging.
- Non-stick Surface: Teflon belts are non-stick, which means they dont allow substances to adhere to the surface. This feature makes them easy to clean, effectively removing oil stains, dirt, adhesives, resins, paints, and other substances.
- Chemical Resistance: PTFE fabric offers excellent chemical resistance to strong acids, bases, aqueous solutions, and various organic solvents.
- Low Friction: The low friction coefficient of Teflon makes it an ideal choice for self-lubricating and oil-free applications.
- High Light Transmission: Teflon conveyor belts feature high light transmission, ranging between 6% to 13%, which is beneficial in certain industrial processes.
- Thermal Insulation: PTFE belts also have excellent thermal insulation properties and low dielectric constant, making them suitable for use in electrically sensitive environments.
- Dimensional Stability: These belts have a low elongation factor (less than 5‰) and high strength, ensuring durability under stress.

Applications of Teflon High-Temperature Conveyor Belts:
- For Garment Drying Machines: Teflon belts are used in garment dryers such as Kannegiesser, Macpi, Martin, Rotondi, Hashima, Oshima, etc.
- For Pressing Machines: These belts are suitable for pressing machines like Bianco, Lafer, Ferraro, Santex, with thickness options of 0.23mm or 0.33mm and customizable widths (1M, 1.5M, or others).
- For Solar Panel Pressing Machines: Teflon belts are used in solar panel energy press machines with smooth or patterned surfaces, in brown or black colors.
- For Heating/Calendering/Shrinking Machines: Teflon-covered fiberglass belts are used in machines for calendering, heating, and drying, available in brown, white, or black, with thickness options from 0.55mm to 1mm, and smooth or patterned surfaces.
- For Mesh Teflon Conveyor Belts: Fiberglass mesh belts coated with Teflon are available with mesh sizes of 1x1mm, 2x2mm, or 4x4mm, and are typically used in drying machines and textile printing machines.
