ABS PLASTIC PELLETS

ABS plastic pellets (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) are a type of polymer formed from three monomers: acrylonitrile, butadiene, and styrene. These pellets are light yellow or ivory in color, possessing high durability, impact resistance, and chemical resistance.

Physical Properties of ABS Plastic Pellets:

• High hardness, making them resistant to scratches from light impact.

• Heat resistant, capable of withstanding prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures.

• Easy to color with bright or fluorescent shades.

• Good electrical insulation properties.

• Melting temperature: 190-220°C.

• Density: 1.05g/cm³.

• Optimal mold temperature for ABS injection molding: 50-60°C.

• Shrinkage rate: 0.4〜0.9%.

• Decomposition temperature: 310°C.

Applications:

• Toy Manufacturing: Alongside PP, ABS plastic is a technical material permitted for use in childrens toys, ensuring safety, odorless quality, and durability, with no color fading.

• Electronics Components: ABS plastic pellets are used in producing electronic housings, accessories, insulation equipment, such as electrical sockets, boards, connectors, antennas, coils, circuit boards, and adapters.

• Automotive and Motorcycle Industry: These pellets are used in the production of mechanical parts, food industry equipment, and automotive and motorcycle components (such as dashboards, tool covers, wheel housings, and mirror boxes).

• Packaging Industry: With high mechanical strength and hardness, ABS plastic is suitable for producing containers, specialized packaging, and helmets.

• Construction Materials: ABS plastic is a sturdy material, resistant to scratching and deformation, making it ideal for producing water pipes, conduit pipes, etc.

• Luggage Manufacturing: Instead of traditional fabric suitcases, ABS plastic is favored for its water-resistant properties and ease of mobility. ABS suitcases are meticulously crafted to achieve a high-gloss finish.
