CONSTRUCTION SECURITY SERVICE
Introduction:
- Dai Phong Vina 24h Security Service Co., Ltd provides professional construction site security services in Vietnam, ensures construction security, protects property and materials from losses, controls goods and workers entering and exiting the construction site, maintaining the working regulations.
- Dai Phong Vina 24h provides security guards that have undergone professional security training and have supervision skill, good control skill.
1. Checking customers in and out of the site
a. For contact or visit:
- The security staffs will ask for the name of the guest, the purpose of the entry and a letter of introduction.
- Use the radio or phone to notify the construction manager or the person that the guest wants to meet if there is no appointment, there must be the consent of the project manager.
- Write the guest name, the name of the agency, the time of arrival and the purpose of entering the work in the guest entry register (check ID or referral).
- Give customers the entrance card and labor protective equipment.
- Require guests to register their items, tools, equipment, and assets that bring along into the construction.
- Instruct guests to follow the regulations such as: do not film or take photos, no-entry areas, dangerous areas, etc.
- Instruct guests the entrance to the construction or to the working department.
b. When out of the site:
- The security guards have to check the basket, backpack and bags of the guests.
- Check the guest’s items, tools, equipment and properties are correct (if any) in accordance with the registered information or match the information in the permit to bring out of the project manager (must be signed by the authorized person).
- Collecting tools and labor protective equipments that provided to customers.
- Ask guests to write the get-out time in the registration book and sign.
2. For workers:
a. When entering:
- Security guards inspect cards, helmets, shoes and other labor safety equipment.
- Check whether the clothes comply with the request of the managing unit.
- Requesting workers to register the equipment, tools that have brought into the construction.
- Workers who work on a part time must check the names in the list of the managing unit.
b. When out:
- When the working time is over, the workers have to line up and get out one by one.
- Check the backpack, bag and the equipment, supplies and tools that workers carried out wheather in accordance with the registered or the permission to take out of the host unit.
- Note: Date, time, quantity, type, signature in the permission to exit.
3. For vehicles:
a. When entering
- The driver stop at the gate, present the paperwork, register the name, vehicle number, entry time and register the equipment, supplies, tools and property that brought in. Guards contact and report to the project managers.
- Check wheather the vehicle is fully qualified under the Protection Objective (eg: inappropriate height, vehicle is too large)
- Open the gate for the vehicle to enter and guide to the parking area or the loading area.
b. When out
- Stop at the gate, ask the driver to register the name, license plate and time to exit.
- The driver must present the relevant documents for taking the goods out.
- Guards checks and compares if the goods brought out match the inventory delivery voucher or not, and the signatures in that.
- Note: Type, quantity, date, time and signature of authorized person.
- Open the gate for the car.
4. Managing and supervising construction equipment, materials and assets
a. When entering:
- Security guards check invoices and goods receipt. Checking, comparing the actual quantity and types of supplies and goods against the invoice or goods receipt.
- Record data of the goods entered into the shift register book.
- Supervise the process of unloading and delivering goods to the warehouse. Report to storekeepers or construction site managers of poor quality, damaged or quantity shortage of imported goods and supplies.
- Note: Guards proactively monitors and instructs workers to load goods and supplies into the warehouse or storage area to ensure safety standards.
b. When exporting:
- Supervise and check the actual quantity brought out according to the delivery order or not.
- Check the number, type and signature recorded on the delivery order.
- Update data in the shift diary book.
5. For staffs: All the staffs must follow the rules and regulations.
6. Other duties of the guards at the main gate:
- Manage phones, port keys, warehouse.
- Instruct and guide the guests.
- Manage equipment record accurate and neatly arranged.
- Grasp the situation and report to the competent people when they need to know.
- Keep contact information with other guard posts and coordinate with each other when an incident occurs.
- Hand over detailed works to the next shift.
- Manage correspondence, mail delivery.
7. Patrol location:
- Security quards will patrol the assigned area detect, arrest and make records of lawbreakers.
- Detecting and preventing acts of sabotage and violations of labor safety.
- Detecting fire and explosion incidents.
- Check the quality of the fire prevention tools and fire alarm system to ensure the efficiency.
- Check the lock of windows and doors.
- Check electrical equipment for safety, especially fire and explosion protection equipments.
- Must bring appropriate equipment when patrolling such as flashlights, radios, batons.
- Supervising and controlling people in working areas, paying attention to supervising prohibited and dangerous areas to prevent unauthorized access.
- Using communication devices to coordinate and work with different positions.
- Record carefully patrolling books, clearly state the number of workers.
8. Requirements for the security guards
- Security guards must know the purpose and nature of the employees.
- Know which one is the expensive equipment, easy to lose.
- Know workers stealing tricks.
- Know the individual characteristics of the managing unit.
- Be aware of the difficulties, which areas are dangerous.
- Understand the security situation of the surrounding area.
