INTERIOR PUTTY – PREMIUM GRADE

Sylex Interior Putty is a premium interior wall putty material designed for surface preparation prior to painting, ensuring a level, smooth finish and providing excellent adhesion for subsequent coating layers.

Application Instructions

• Surfaces must be clean and free from dust, grease, oil, and other contaminants.
  

• Mix 01 part water with 03 parts powder by weight. Pour water into the container first, then gradually add the powder while mixing thoroughly until a homogeneous, workable paste is obtained.
  

• Allow the mixture to stand for 5 – 7 minutes for chemical activation, then remix before application.

Drying Time

• Optimal application time is within 60 – 120 minutes after mixing.
  

• Apply each coat at intervals of 2 – 3 hours sand smooth after 4 – 5 hours.
  

• Thoroughly remove sanding dust, then apply primer after 24 – 48 hours.

Storage

• The putty must be stored in a dry, well-ventilated area and placed on pallets.
  

• Avoid direct sunlight and do not stack more than 10 bags.

For optimum results:

• Sylex Interior & Exterior Putty: 01 – 02 coats
  

• Sylex Alkali-Resistant Primer: 01 – 02 coats
  

• Sylex Topcoat Paint: 02 coats

Application Advisory

• Prior to painting, the substrate must be clean, dry, free from flaking, and devoid of contaminants that may impair adhesion such as dust, grease, oil, or moss and mold. Use appropriate chemical treatments to remediate mold-infested surfaces. For aged walls exhibiting chalking, the old paint film must be completely removed before application.
  

• All cracks must be thoroughly repaired before paint application.
  

• In hot and dry weather conditions, it is recommended to moisten the wall surface prior to application.
