2. Hot-Rolled Stainless-Steel Coils

During this process, the steel undergoes high-temperature rolling in a hot strip mill at temperatures exceeding 1,000°C, resulting in the desired final shape. This high-temperature process alters the physical and structural properties of the metal, enabling it to be formed into the required shape.

Hot-rolled stainless-steel products typically exhibit a dark bluish tint, with lower aesthetic appeal and limited surface glossiness. These coils are widely used in applications where surface finish is not a critical requirement.

3. Cold-Rolled Stainless-Steel Coils

The cold-rolling process is performed after the hot-rolling stage, utilizing hot-rolled coils as feedstock. This involves gradually reducing the thickness of the steel while lowering its temperature to an optimal level, potentially down to room temperature. To ensure controlled cooling and maintain the structural integrity of the steel, a cooling solution is applied throughout the process.
