General description
Good time to Travel in Vietnam is from September to June. However, Vietnam has three different regions – the North, the Central and the South – each with different weather patterns and different rainy seasons. This means that there is neither a best time nor a worst time to visit Vietnam. Hot summer or Cold winter is not that a big deal!

Tour itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi - Arrival (D)
You are warmly welcomed by our Tour guide at Noi Bai Airport and transferred to your hotel in Hanoi capital (Check in at 14:00PM, free early check in subject to availability). Be free and relax after long journey. In the evening, attend Water Puppet Show and enjoy welcome dinner. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B/L/D)
After breakfast at hotel, leave Hanoi at 08:00 for Halong bay, The World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, embark a junk cruising around Halong Bay. Enjoy seafood lunch on boat, then have a short excursion to Surprise Caves and swim, kayak if weather permitted. In the evening, enjoy the night fishing (if weather permitted), have seafood dinner on boat. Overnight on board.
Day 3: Ha Long bay - Hanoi - Lao Cai by train (B)
In the morning, cruise more around Halong Bay and back to the Halong pier. Driving back to Hanoi. Free time until take night train to Sapa. Overnight on Sapa train.
Day 4: Lao Cai - Sapa (B/L)
Arrive at Lao Cai train station at about 05.30AM. Take a transfer to Sapa (Check in at 14:00PM, free early check in subject to availability). Freshen up after a long trip with breakfast in the good weather of Sapa, then, visit Sapa town. In the afternoon, take a 2km short trek to Cat Cat Village, the home of H’mong minority, back to Hotel. Overnight in Sapa town.
Day 5: Sapa - Lao Cai – Hanoi by train (B/L)
After breakfast at hotel, short drive to visit Lao Chai and Ta Van Villages, home of H’mong and Day ethnic. Enjoy slope rice field, bamboo valley, rustic villages and villagers daily work along the way. Return to Sapa and take a transfer back to Lao Cai station for night train to Hanoi. Overnight on train.
Day 6: Hanoi – HoaLu - TamCoc (B/L)
Arrive in Hanoi in the early morning. Have breakfast and start a trip to Ninh Binh, Ancient Capital of Vietnam in 10th century. On arrival, take a short excursion by bike to visit Dinh – Le temples, which were built in memory of the Tran Dynasty Kings who defeated Kublikhans army, have lunch at local restaurant. In the early afternoon, explore Tam Coc (three grottos) by rowing boat through the rice fields, mountain ranges, This Area is considered as “Halong bay on land”. Back to Hanoi and arrive at 17:00. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 7: Hanoi city – Vanphuc silk vilage – Quangbinh by train (B/L)
After breakfast at hotel, start a city visit at 9:00 to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum, One pillar pagoda, Tran Quoc pagoda. After lunch, visit to Temple of Literature, Army Museum. Then, visit Vanphuc silk village for shopping. Take a night train to Dong Hoi. Overnight on train.
Day 8: Phongnha – Kebang National Park (B/L)
Arrive Dong Hoi in the morning, transfer to hotel for breakfast and relax (Check in at 14:00PM, free early check in subject to availability), then drive to Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park. Getting on boat and cruise the worlds longest underground river to Phong Nha Cave. The deeper one penetrates, the more magical the natural aspects of the caves are. After 700m cruise, a large dry passage appears, discover the cave for 500m by walking. Have a chance to explore the remain of Cham Altars and Inscriptions inside. Overnight in Dong Hoi town.
Day 9: Quangbinh - DMZ - Hue (B/L)
After breakfast at hotel, drive along Ho Chi Minh Trail back to Hue with a stopover at historic Hien Luong Bridge, Ben Hai River and the famous Vinh Moc Tunnel. Continue the drive to Hue. Overnight in Hue.
Day 10: Hue city tour (B/L/D)
After breakfast at hotel, 08:00Am start the tour with a visit to Imperial Citadel and King Minh Mang tomb, King Tu Duc Tomb, Thien Mu Pagoda. Then we will embark in a boat cruise along Perfume river to admire sunset and enjoy Vietnamese traditional folk song on boat. Overnight in Hue.
Day 11: Hue - Hoi An – Myson Holy Land (B/L)
In the morning, take a private car from Hue to Hoi An. Early lunch and drive to My Son Holy Land – one of the world heritage sites of Vietnam. Back to Hoi An in the afternoon for beach relax or on the bank of Thu Bon river or go shopping around. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 12: Hoi An - Danang – Nha Trang by flight (B)
Transfer to Da Nang Airport to fly to Nha trang around noon. Relax on the beach of Nha Trang. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 13: Nha Trang (B/L)
Have one day boat trip. Visit Mun Island, the best site for snorkeling where you will see lots of live colorful corals and fish. This site has been officially protected under the support of Danish Government. Relax, sunbath and swim at Tam island. Then, visit Tri Nguyen Aquarium on Mieu Island. At this place, the life of the many sea species of Nha Trang ocean being made in a smaller world of this aquarium can be seen. Return to Nha Trang about 16.00. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 14: Nha Trang - Ho Chi Minh by flight (B)
Free time on beach until taking afternoon flight to Ho Chi Minh city. Free to explore the city and overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 15: Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)
After breakfast at hotel, 08:00AM the tour begins with a visit to Reunification Palace, War Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral. After lunch, continue to visit Binh Tay Market, Thien Hau Pagoda, on the way back, stop to visit Chinatown which should not be missed. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City
Day 16: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta (B/L)
After breakfast at hotel, leave at 8:00 from your hotel for My Tho, on arrival get on a private boat cruising along small creek to Mekong River estuary, to Phoenix Island and stop at a garden restaurant for Vietnamese lunch. The motorized boat cruises more along natural creeks and quiet village in Ben Tre Province. Visit orchards, bee - keeping farm, taste natural honey and honey wine, enjoy tropical fruit, traditional music, wonder around a distillery, explore the local coconut candy production process, taste candy & coconut pulp. On the way back to Ho Chi Minh, stop at a bonsai garden in My Tho. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 17: Ho Chi Minh City – Tayninh – Cu Chi (B/L)
After breakfast at hotel, 08:00AM drive a long way on the country side of Vietnam to Tay Ninh, 100 km from Ho Chi Minh city. Proceed to the head quarter of Cao Dai religion to witness the daily ceremony at Cao Dai Holy See, meet followers who come to attend the ceremony, wear colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of the Confucianism, Taoism, Christianity and Buddhism. Have lunch at a local restaurant then continue to Cu Chi, the incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. Overnight at Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 18: Ho Chi Minh City – Departure (B)
Free time for shopping or optional visit before transferring to Tan Son Nhat Airport for departure.
