HDPE WATERPROOFING MEMBRANCE
1. Introduction:
HDPE waterproofing membrane stands for Hight density polypropylenne, HDPE waterproofing membrane contains 97.5% of virgin plastic, the remaining 2.5% includes carbon black, heat stabilizer, UV resistant so HDPE is non-toxic and can used as fresh water tank.

2. Applications of HDPE waterproofing membrane:
- The most commonly used is lining the bottom of domestic and industrial landfills to prevent toxic and harmful substances, which is hard to decompose, absorbed into the underground water, causing harm to people live near landfills.
- Used to cover landfills to prevent rain water, bacteria and bad odors from the surrounding environment.
- Waterproofing landscape works: golf courses, landscape lakes in parks.
- Lining the bottom and roof of shrimp and fish ponds to create an ideal environment.
- Lining the bottom of industrial waste water reservoirs such as slag waste plant, chemical plant, fertilizer plant: Depending on whether industrial wastewater is high or low corrosive, the amount of microorganism, then HDPE waterproof membrane will be designed according to that to increase the life of the project.
- Lining the bottom and covering the Biogas cellar in livestock farms: According to our experience, for the bottom lining, the HDPE waterproofing membrane should be from 0.5mm to 1.0mm to prevent waste from absorbed into the underground water. For the top coat, it is recommended to use 1.5mm to 2.0mm HDPE waterproof membrane that has good UV resistance, because the film is directly affected by sunlight.
