Desiccated Coconut
Desiccated Coconut is a grated, dried (3% moisture content max), and unsweetened fresh meat or kernel of a mature fruit of coconut. Dessicated Coconuts are graded by its cutting size, for example, fine grade and medium grade where fine grade is smaller particle size than the medium grade. It is ideal for use as fillers, toppings and as ingredients, especially in the baking of biscuits, snack bars, cakes, cookies and so on.
A - TYPE: DESICCATED COCONUT (FINE)
► SPECIFICATION
- Size: 1-3.5 mm
- Ingredient: 100% pure coconut natural
- Color: Natural white, free from yellow specks or other discoloration
- Moisture: 3% max
- FFA (as Lauric Acid): 0.3% max
- Oil content: 60-65% min
- Fat content: 63-65% min
- SO2 residual: 100 ppm max
- PH value (10% solution): 6.1-7.1
- Storage: Keep in a cool and dry place
- Shelf life: 12 months in cool, dry conditions after production
► PACKING & DELIVERY
- Packing: 50kg, 25kg, 10kg/bag, 5-line bag (PE, 3-ply kraft paper inner, PP covering) or as the requirement
- Delivery: 7-10 days after receiving your LC or TT
B - TYPE: DESICCATED COCONUT (MEDIUM GRADE)

- Size: 5-6mm
- Ingredient: 100% pure coconut natural
- Color: Natural white, free from yellow specks or other discoloration
- Moisture: 3% max
- Free fatty acid (FFA): 0.5% max
- Oil content: 63-65% (d.B)
- Fat content: 66-69%
- PH value (10% solution): 6.1-7.1
- Storage: Keep in a cool and dry place
- Shelf life: 12 months in cool, dry conditions after production.
