Intek Heat-Resistant Paint
1. Product Description:
- INTEK heat-resistant paint is specially made to prevent heat for corrugated iron roofs of factories and houses, effectively reducing heat from 12 to 26 degrees Celsius.
- This is a water-based paint with heat-resistant properties, and this special paint is manufactured according to a special formula that effectively reduces heat, withstands hot climates, prevents heat transfer and light reflection, and blocks the sun`s rays.
- INTEK heat-resistant paint is created for high insulation efficiency, reducing the surface temperature 12 - 26°C when the temperature on the corrugated iron roof rises above 60°C.
- High adhesion, so it can be applied on a variety of materials.
- With hot weather, using heat-resistant paint will increase labor productivity and save energy use.
- Protect and increase the durability of the corrugated iron roof, and reduce the noise on the corrugated iron roof when it rains heavily.
2. Technical information:
- Ingredients: Adhesive compound, film forming agent, additives, water.
- Thickness: can increase up toـ.25 - 0.35 mm after applying 2 - 3 layers
- Theoretical coverage : 6-8 m2/Liter/Layer
- Construction tools: sprayer, roller, brush.
- Clean construction tools with water.
- Can be used on many types of heat-resistant material surfaces such as: corrugated iron roofs, tile roofs, concrete walls of factories, farms, houses, schools, hotels, hospitals, shops, warehouses.
3. Application process:
▶ Surface preparation:
- The surface used for applying must be cleaned, and free of dirt, grease or impurities.
- Surfaces containing old paint, rust, impurities need to be cleaned before applying.
- The surface is concrete, the outer wall has cracks that need to be repaired and plastered before construction.
▶ Application of heat resistant paint:
- Concrete wall: Layer 1 must be mixed with㺊-20% clean water. For the next two coats, if the paint is solid, it can be mixed with 5% clean water.
- Old and rusted corrugated iron: INTEK anti-rust paint or INTEK multi-purpose primer is recommended as a primer before applying heat-resistant paint.
- New corrugated iron: depending on weather conditions, apply 2-3 layers of INTEK heat-resistant paint with a thickness of 0.25 - 0.35 mm, and the construction time between each layer is 1 - 2 hours apart. The first coat is applied thinly to prevent the surface from cracking or peeling. In case the solid paint is difficult to apply, it can be diluted with 5% clean water. With a dry surface, quickly absorbs paint, it can be easily diluted more than the above ratio.
3. Note:
- Blend the paint well before use.
- Do not apply when the outside temperature is below 5°C, the humidity is over 85%, the wind is above level 4.
- Avoid applying when there is rainy or hot weather. It is recommended to apply in the morning or afternoon, when the surface temperature does not exceed 35°C.
4. Warranty:
- Place in a cool, dry place away from heat and sunlight. Keep belt intact.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Expiry date: 24 months from date of manufacture.
