1. Product information:

- Nippon MATEX paint is a water-based paint and it is specially formulated to possess high color fastness. Nippon Matex paint gives a smooth, flat paint layer with many attractive colors and it can be covered more the surface more widely thanks to its high coverage.

- Paint type: Acrylic Copolymer Emulsion

- Color: Many modern colors as in the colour palette. Especially, we also offer colors will be available upon request.

2. Usage:

- As a decorative and protective coating for interior surfaces such as:

    + Plastered walls

    + Concrete

    + Brick wall

    + Wood 

    + Gypsum board

    + MDF board

3. Applying instruction:

▶ Surface Preparation

- Surface must be clean, dry and stable

▶ Suggested handling direction

- Stain or dust: wipe with wet cloth and clean dust.  During the cleaning process, mild detergent may be used

- Old paint layer / Cement mortar / Putty: These must be removed with scraper, scrubber or suitable tool. In particular, the unstable surfaces should be covered with a suitable putty

- Humidity: High humidity often causes paint problems. Observe the following moisture levels before painting (with a Sovereign moisture meter)

- The foundation part: moisture less than 6%

- Wood: moisture less than 10%

▶ All water infiltration must be thoroughly checked and treated:

- Moss/mushrooms: Remove with chisel or scraper and treat with anti-moss solution - NIPPON ANTI-FUNGUS SOLUTION. Rinse the surface with clean water and let it dry

- Oil/grease: Remove with mild detergent and a little solvent if it is necessary. Rinse thoroughly to remove all stains left on the surface.

▶ Construction technique:

- Use a brush, roller or airless spray gun

▶ Consuming amount of paint:

- Theoretically: 14.0 m2/liter ( Thickness of paint layer: 30 microns)

▶ Diluting formula:

- Use clean water to dilute:

    + Brush and roller: Up to 20%

    + Spray without air: Up to 10%
