Fire Resistant Cable
1. OVERVIEW OF FIRE - RESISTANT CABLES:
- Fire - resistant cable, copper wire (Level 2), FR - PVC insulation, voltage 0.6/1kV
- The fixed installation used for the distributing system is designed to limit the spread of fire when it is affected by fire. Therefore, it is suitable for use in all kinds of works.
2. STANDARDS FOR QUALIFIED FIRE RESISTANT CABLES:
- TCVN 6612/ IEC 60228
- TCVN 6610 - 3/ IEC 60227 - 3
- TCVN 5935 - 1/ IEC 60502 - 1
- IEC 60332 - 1 3
- BS 4066 - 1 3
3. IDENTIFYING CHARACTERISTICS OF FIRE RESISTANT CABLES:
- Insulation cover: Orange
4. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF FIRE-RESISTANCE CABLE:
- The recommended long-term working temperature of the conductor is 70 ºC.
- Maximum allowable temperature of conductor when shorting circuit for no more than 5 seconds: 160 ºC with cross section ≤ 300 mm² and 140 ºC with cross section > 300 mm²
- Cable have features which can slow the flame transmission, so it is difficult to ignite.
