Origin of Jasmine rice

Rice is a specialized product that needs large space to produce, grow and harvest. In Vietnam, it’s in Cuu Long River dental where mostly long-grain rice is produced. This location is suitable due to the variety of irrigation, pleasant weather, and cheap labor.

Usually, rice milling factories are located in the area which is nearby the farm, to get the best quantity of rice and reduce the time of transportation between harvesting and milling.

Vietnam jasmine rice has been known for its high quality as well as its special taste after cooking. It’s a daily product that everyone needs about 2-3 times per day.

Jasmine rice is the medium length in comparison with others, it’s not as sticky as short-grain rice but it’s shorter than long-grain rice and its taste still remains unchanged. The color is always bright and eye-catching.
