Born into a family with four generations of attachment to the craft, Ms. Thuan grew up with silkworms, looms, and the rich scent of silk. When the sericulture industry experienced a crisis, the craft lacked practitioners, and villagers abandoned the trade, she stayed behind. Instead of giving up, she embarked on a bold journey of transformation, driven by her deep passion for silk.
From the bold idea of "Letting silkworms weave instead of humans", Ms. Phan Thi Thuan pioneered an entirely new direction for Vietnam’s silk industry. Without the need for machinery or artificial manipulation, the silkworms — thriving in a natural environment — produce seamless, durable silk sheets with a level of cohesion and strength unmatched by any conventional weaving technique.
Based on that foundation, the company has successfully developed products from SILK WOVEN BY SILKWORMS THEMSELVES and LOTUS SILK.
