Zhangzhou Weiyi Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd is a Hong Kong sole proprietorship enterprise which technically cooperates with China, Japan, America, Germany, Italy and Turkey. Weiyi was established in 2002 with an initial investment capital of USD 70 millions. Until now, the total investment capital has reached about USD 800 millions. The company has over 1000 employees now and is a key enterprise of Zhangzhou City in China. It covers an area of 300 acres. The company is well-recognized as the top and largest covering yarn manufacturer in the Greater China, solely occupying 80% of the double-covering yarns market and prestige products for hosiery, socks, seamless, weaving, circular knitting and many more applications. Weiyi is the only industry innovator of new covering yarns for all types of usages. Every year, we launch creative and functional yarns for customers.
Weiyi has introduced advanced chemical fiber production equipment from other countries including Japan, America, France, Italy, Germany and Switzerland. These equipments include Barmag 32- spinning-position high-speed spinning production line, Barmag and ICBT texturizing machines, and over 1600 machinery covering machines from France ICBT, Japan Kataoka and Italy Menegatto, all running at full capacity throughout the years. There are about 20 SSM rewinding machines from Switzerland as well. The new factory which is also located in the same area has already started operating in 2016. An additional of 800 covering machines would be installed to satisfy the increasing market demands from all over the world.
Weiyi specializes in producing spandex covering yarns, nylon high stretch yarns PA6 & PA66 and other textile raw materials, with an annual output of about 6000 tonnes high-quality products. Weiyi is renowned for producing fine yarns, functional yarns and specialty yarns for sheer hosiery, warp, weft and narrow weaving, seamless, circular knitting, socks etc. We produce with as fine as spandex 10D and nylon 5D. We are also the largest producer of Lycra 777 fusion and Mobilon covering yarns in China with an annual usage of about 500 tons fusion yarns.
Weiyi’s sales network covers the main textile markets in China and its products are sold overseas to Europe, America, Middle East and Southeast Asia countries, receiving consistent high praise from all customers.
