► The Crafting Process:
Our artisans follow a meticulous 10-step process to create each lantern, divided into two main stages:
■ Frame Construction:
- Aged bamboo is used, which is boiled and soaked in salt water for 10-15 days to enhance its durability.
- The bamboo is carefully split into strips and shaped into the desired frame.
■ Fabric Application:
- The frame is covered with high-quality silk fabric, often featuring intricate embossed patterns from the renowned Ha Dong craft village.
- The fabric is skillfully applied to ensure a seamless and visually stunning finish.
